The Feather Project

Information

The Feather Project is a public art initiative celebrating the history, culture, and spirit of Cherokee County through large-scale feather sculptures installed in prominent community parks or place of business. The inspiration for this project comes from our heritage with the Cherokee Indians.

The feathers are not complete yet, so stay tuned! We can’t wait for you to see what’s next!

Feather installations are located at:

  • Hobgood Park – 6688 Bells Ferry Road, Woodstock, GA, 30189
  • Aquatic Center – 1200 Wellstar Way, Canton, GA 30114
  • L.B. “Buzz” Ahrens, Jr. Recreation Center – 7345 Cumming Highway, Canton, GA 30115
