Outdoor Camp Fall Break

The Natural Resources Division proudly offers a dynamic lineup of Outdoor Recreation Camps designed to connect youth and teens with nature through hands-on learning and outdoor adventure. Our camps build confidence, leadership skills, environmental awareness, and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors, all while having fun. In addition, Natural Resources Parks manage and maintain our passive parks within Cherokee Recreation and Parks, ensuring safe, well-kept spaces for the community to enjoy.

This camp will be for kids 9-12 that are interested in taking on outdoor and adventure-based activities over Fall Break!! We will have a fun filled week planned for the campers! Some activities will include a level of strength, coordination, and endurance. Some of the tentative activities will include hiking, kayaking, and fishing. Campers should bring lunch, water, and sunscreen daily.

  Cost: $230 per week for residents, $260 per week for non-residents
  Location: The WREC (Woodstock)
  Ages: 8-13
