Art in the Park

Help us celebrate the places that bring our community together.

Ideas throughout the month:

• Community Rock Snake – Paint a patriotic or nature-inspired rock and help us grow a giant community rock snake at one of our parks.
• Community Chalk Days – Create colorful sidewalk art celebrating parks, nature, and recreation.
• Kindness Rocks – Paint inspirational rocks and hide them throughout our parks for others to discover.
• Nature Art Challenge – Create temporary artwork using leaves, sticks, pinecones, and other natural materials (leave no trace).

Weekly “The Power Of…” Campaign

Throughout July, we’ll highlight the many ways parks make life better:

• The Power of Community
• The Power of Nature
• The Power of Wellness
• The Power of Adventure

We’ll also feature stories and photos from our community showing how Cherokee Recreation & Parks has helped create lasting memories.
