Welcome to the Cherokee County Aquatic Center

Cherokee County Aquatic Center is a premier, full-service aquatics facility offering year-round programs for all ages and abilities. We provide swim lessons, American Red Cross safety classes, water aerobics, camps, Parent’s Night Out, Story & Swim, Homeschool Open Swim, and eight special events annually, including the popular Swim with the Grinch. Open since 2013, the center features two indoor pools: a 50-meter competition pool ideal for training and meets, and a heated 25-yard recreation pool designed for lessons, fitness, and therapeutic programs.

During the summer season, guests enjoy The Oasis, our outdoor water park featuring beach entry, two water slides, a water playground, interactive play features, pavilions, family restrooms, locker rooms, and The Oasis Café. The facility also offers indoor party rooms, poolside classrooms, a fitness area, concessions, and the Splash Pad at Cline Park in Waleska.

  • Cherokee County residents receive discounted daily admission and season pass pricing for The Oasis.

The Cherokee County Aquatic Center hosts a full calendar of special events each year, bringing families and the community together through creative, fun, and memorable aquatic experiences. Cancellation/Refund Policy for Cabana Rentals:

  • If rental is cancelled 5 or more days prior to visit a full refund minus $5 admin fee will be provided.
  • If rental is Cancelled 4 days or less up to 24 hours prior to visit a 50% refund will be provided.
  • Cancellations less than 24 hours prior will not be refunded.

Party Rentals

Book your next party with us!

Pool parties at the Cherokee County Aquatic Center are available for birthdays, family reunions, workplace outings, or any special occasions that you’d like to celebrate with us! When you book a party package, you and your guests will be able to enjoy our indoor recreational pool from Labor Day through Memorial Day. Please find some of our indoor pool party package FAQs and answers below.

  • Pools and facility will be open to the public at the same time as your party
  • Indoor & Oasis party package pricing is $285. Please note that indoor party reservations are not available during the summer Oasis season.
  • Indoor party times:
    • Saturday & Sunday: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Outdoor party times:
    • Monday – Friday: 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm
    • Saturday: 10:00 am -12:30 pm; 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm; 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
    • Sunday: 1-3:30 pm
    • Parties can only be booked in person at the Aquatic Center. Reservations are unavailable online.
  • Parties may bring outside food/ non-alcoholic beverages to the designated party area.
  • Party packages include admission for up to 25 guests.
  • Children 5 and younger and anyone requiring a lifejacket must have an adult guardian within arm’s reach in the water with them at all times
  • All children under the age of 3 or anyone not potty trained must have a swim diaper and a swimsuit on per Cherokee County Health Department regulations
  • Fins, masks, snorkels, nose-covering goggles, toys, floats, and/or pool noodles are not permitted
  • There is a $150 refundable security deposit that is required by CRPA for all facility rentals. This deposit is refundable provided the building is left in the condition it was rented to you, reasonably cleaned, with no damage.

Can I purchase passes online?
Yes! Season passes (3-month) and annual passes can be purchased online or in person at our front desk.

How much is daily admission?
Daily admission ranges from $6–$9 per person.

What time does The Oasis open?
The Oasis opens at 10:00 AM on most days. For late openings, weather closures, or schedule changes, check our Facebook page.

Is food available? Can I bring my own?
We offer on-site concessions and vending machines. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Can I rent a cabana?
Yes! We have four cabanas available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis. You can check availability and reserve a cabana on our website.

How long can I stay with daily admission?
Your daily admission includes access to The Oasis for the entire day during normal operating hours.
