Cherokee Youth Flag Football

The mission of Cherokee Youth Flag Football is to provide young men & women a safe, fun, and competitive learning environment for recreational players of all abilities that develops athletic character, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

We are excited to offer this program that gives young men & women a chance to explore a brand-new sport. Over the last few years, Flag Football has been growing at an exponential rate at the high school and collegiate level here in the state of Georgia and across the country. This league will help develop your athlete’s fundamentals and love for the game much earlier than the majority of players at their age level nation-wide.

We can’t wait to get this program off the ground and hope that you and your athlete choose to be a part of this special journey.

Cherokee Youth Flag Football is a program that provides Elementary girls and boys & Middle School Girls with their own shot at the world of football. CYFF allows athletes to properly learn flag football fundamentals before taking the sport on at the high school level.

Time: August 2026 – October 2026 (2 weekday practices, and one practice on Saturdays leading up to games. Games will take place on Saturdays.)

• K-1st Grade Boys
• K-1st Grade Girls
• 2nd-3rd Grade Boys
• 2nd-3rd Grade Girls
• 4th-5th Grade Boys
• 4th-5th Grade Girls
• Girls Middle School Division (6th-8th)

**Middle School Division- Teams based by high school district (evaluations and drafts apply for each district)

** Elementary School- Teams based by high school district(evaluations and drafts apply for each district) Unless participation numbers do not allow.
