We offer basketball leagues in the spring and summer, flag football, and one‑pitch softball—perfect for players of all skill levels. We are always in search of volunteer coaches and gym directors. If you are interested in being a volunteer coach or gym director, you will need to register through our website as well. Once you are selected as a coach or gym director, you can fill out a Volunteer Background Check by clicking here.

Spring/Summer Leagues

Cherokee Recreation & Parks offers Adult Men’s Basketball Leagues for players of all skill levels. Leagues are played at the Recreation Center in the fall/winter, spring and summer.

Monday and Tuesday Leagues
The schedule will consist of an 8-game season with the playoff format to be determined.

Leagues:

Monday League (8 team Max.)
Tuesday League (8 team Max.)

Spring
Starting Date: March 9, 2026
Locations: Hickory Flat Gym or The Buzz
Ages: 16 and up
Cost: $675 per team (resident)/ $720 per team (non-resident)
Registration Dates: December 15, 2025 – February 22, 2026

Summer
Starting Date: Monday, June 1, 2026
Ages: 16 and up
Location: The WREC, The Buzz
Cost: $675 per team (resident)/ $720 per team (non-resident)
Registration Dates: April 13 – May 24, 2026

Adult Flag Football

Friday Night 5 v 5

The schedule will consist of a 4-week season with a minimum of 4 games guaranteed.
Start Date: Coming Fall 2026
Ages: 16 and up
Location: Kenney Askew Multipurpose Field – 1080 Univeter Rd, Canton, GA 30115
Cost: $45 per player, $210 per team

Adult Kickabll

Spring 2026 COED Kickball

League: Wednesday Nights
The schedule will consist of an 8-game season and playoffs.
Starting Date: Wednesday, March 25, 2026
Ages: 16 and up
Location: Hobgood Park Turf Field
Cost: $400 per team (resident), *$445 per team (non-resident)
Registration Dates: January 5th – March 15th, 2026

Adult Softball

Spring Slow-Pitch Leagues

Cherokee Recreation & Parks offers a wide variety of Adult Softball Leagues for players of all skill levels. Leagues are played at Hobgood Park located in Woodstock, GA. We offer spring and fall Men’s, Women’s, Church, and Co-ed Leagues at Hobgood Park. If you are looking to play a certain night of the week or a certain level of competition, then Hobgood Park is the Only Place to Play.

The schedule will consist of an 8-game season with playoffs.

Leagues/Divisions:
Monday: Men’s Beginner, Men’s Intermediate
Tuesday: COED
Wednesday: COED, Men’s Beginner, Men’s Intermediate
Thursday: Church/Business Beginner, Church/Business Intermediate, COED Beginner

Starting Date: Monday, March 2, 2026
Ages: 16 and up
Location: Hobgood Park
Cost: $700 per team (resident), $745 per team (non-resident)
Registration Dates: December 15, 2025 – February 22, 2026

Adult Summer One-Pitch Leagues
The schedule will consist of a 6-game season will all team making the playoffs.
Starting Date: Monday, June 1, 2026
Ages: 16 and up
Leagues: Monday Men’s League and Tuesday Coed League
Location: Hobgood Park
Cost: $375 per resident, $400 non-resident
Registration Dates: April 31-May 24, 2026
