Cherokee Recreation and Parks is seeking donations for its 11th Annual Project Valentine community service project.
The donations will be made into goody bags and delivered to Empower Cherokee and Next Step Ministries, two local nonprofit organizations serving the special needs community in Cherokee County.
Requested items include lip balm, lotion, sticky notes, pens, markers, word searches, art or music activities, candy (sugar-free and regular), and other holiday-related items.

Dates Donations accepted from January 6, 2026 –February 10, 2026.
Donations may be dropped off at our recreation centers and the Cherokee County Aquatic Center during regular business hours.
