Special Events & Community Impact

The Cherokee County Aquatic Center hosts a full calendar of special events each year, bringing families and the community together through creative, fun, and memorable aquatic experiences. Signature events include Swim with the Grinch, Eggs-traordinary Extravaganza, Paws in the Pool, Mermaid Pool Party, Turkey Swim, Tropical Night at The Oasis, and our popular after-hours pool parties during the summer season.

Come help us grow the Grinch’s Heart as we start the Holiday season at Swim with the Grinch.

Time: 9:00 am -10:15am or 10:45am-12pm
Cost: $10 with advance registration, or $15 on the day of the event.

We are also proud participants in Swim Across America, raising $1,595 this year to support childhood cancer research at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Beyond aquatic programming, the center actively supports the community by hosting collections for partners such as Cherokee County Animal Hospital, MUST Ministries Food Drive, and Hugs in a Blanket, providing essentials and comfort to local seniors.

Pool parties at the Cherokee County Aquatic Center are available for birthdays, family reunions, workplace outings, or any special occasions that you’d like to celebrate with us! When you book a party package, you and your guests will be able to enjoy our indoor recreational pool from Labor Day through Memorial Day. • Pools and facility will be open to the public at the same time as your party
• Indoor & Oasis party package pricing is $280, with optional add-ons (please see contract for details), we do not allow indoor party reservations during the months of June, July, and August.
• Indoor party times:
  • Saturday & Sunday: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
• Outdoor party times:
  • Monday – Friday: 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm
  • Saturday: 10:00 am -12:30 pm; 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm; 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
  • Sunday: 1-3:30 pm
  • Parties can only be booked in person at the Aquatic Center. Reservations are unavailable online.
• Parties may bring outside food/ non-alcoholic beverages to the designated party area.
• Party packages include admission for up to 25 guests.
• Children 5 and younger and anyone requiring a lifejacket must have an adult guardian within arm’s reach in the water with them at all times
• All children under the age of 3 or anyone not potty trained must have a swim diaper and a swimsuit on per Cherokee County Health Department regulations
• Fins, masks, snorkels, nose-covering goggles, toys, floats, and/or pool noodles are not permitted
• There is a $150 refundable security deposit that is required by CRPA for all facility rentals. This deposit is refundable provided the building is left in the condition it was rented to you, reasonably cleaned, with no damage.
